The 2013 Law of European Delegation gives the Italian government the power to transpose 35 EU directives, including Directive 2011/16/EU. Effective January 1, 2013, Directive 2011/16/EU repeals Directive 77/799/EEC and sets new ways and procedures for administrative cooperation between member states on the administration and implementation of national legislation in the tax field.
